What is the Madd Gear Warranty Policy?Updated 6 months ago

Madd Gear Warranty Policy

At Madd Gear, we build products that are tough, durable, and designed for fun! However, we understand that issues can sometimes arise. Below is an overview of our warranty coverage, how to file a claim, and what’s covered.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

The Madd Gear Manufacturer’s Warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults but does not cover damage from misuse, modifications, or regular wear and tear.

  • Manufacturing defects: Issues with the product’s construction or materials.
  • Wear and tear: Normal damage that occurs during use is not covered (e.g., scratches, fading, or wear from grinding on rough surfaces).

Important: Keep Your Proof of Purchase!

To file a warranty claim, you’ll need your proof of purchase or receipt. If you encounter an issue, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or get in touch with us directly.

Wear & Tear Explained

Madd Gear products are made from high-quality materials designed for normal use. However, over time, some parts may wear down. For example:

  • Scooter Decks: Made from tough aluminum, our decks can wear away if used on cement or stone, especially from grinding. This wear is normal and not covered under warranty.
  • Consumable Parts: Items like handlebar grips, bearings, and grip tape wear out during regular use and are not covered unless defective when received.
