Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve compiled answers to common questions to help you get the most from your Metro 250.

1️⃣ How much weight can the Metro 250 Kick Folding Scooter support?
The Metro 250 is designed for riders up to 250 pounds (113 kilograms).

2️⃣ What age is the Metro 250 recommended for?
This scooter is recommended for riders aged 8 and up.

3️⃣ How do I adjust the handlebar height?
Release the quick-release clamp, press in the gold secondary locking pin while sliding the handlebar to your desired height using the three-stage adjustment system, and lock it securely in place by closing the quick-release clamp again.

4️⃣ My handlebar feels loose after assembly. What should I do?
Ensure the locking bolt is fully tightened on the T-bar. This is a short bolt located just under the horizontal handlebar with the grips on the ends. Ensure you tighten this bolt to remove any play.

5️⃣ How does the folding mechanism work?
To fold the scooter, press the locking lever toward the deck and fold the scooter down. When opening, ensure it snaps securely into place. The safety lock prevents the scooter from folding while weight is applied.

6️⃣ My front wheel won’t stay straight when I ride. What’s wrong?
This usually means the double clamp on the handlebar stem hasn’t been tightened evenly or securely. Alternate between the top and bottom clamp bolts, tightening each a little at a time to apply even tension. The handlebar and clamp should sit flush on the headset and the front wheel should no longer move independently of the bar.

7️⃣ How do I maintain my scooter?
Regularly check and tighten all bolts, clean the wheels and bearings, and store the scooter in a dry place when not in use.

8️⃣ What tools are needed for assembly?
The required 5 millimeter Allen key is provided in the box. No additional tools are needed.

9️⃣ Can I order replacement parts?
Yes! Replacement parts like wheels, grips, and hardware are available through our website or by contacting our customer support team.

🔟 Where can I get further help if I’m having trouble assembling or using the scooter?
You can watch our assembly video on this page, check the online user manual, or contact our support team for assistance through our Contact Us page.
